So, the allergist-immunologist Vladimir Bolibok believes that the mask regime can be canceled already in April. The main condition for canceling the mask regime is the indicator of the development of collective immunity to the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
Zoya Skorpileva, candidate of medical sciences, immunologist at the European Vaccination Center, noted that in order to abolish the mask regime in the country, a number of factors must be observed, the main of which is the presence of collective immunity to coronavirus and vaccination.
It is worth noting that earlier the professor of the Gamaleya Center Anatoly Altstein said that in the event of mass vaccination, it would be possible to abandon restrictions, including the mask regime, only by the end of 2021.
Recall that wearing a medical mask in all public places has become one of the main measures to curb the spread of coronavirus. Studies have shown that the likelihood of contracting coronavirus is indeed significantly reduced if masks are worn by everyone - both healthy and infected.
