Hospital 52 returns to normal operation. She was one of the first to be re-profiled to receive patients with coronavirus and fight COVID-19. Work in this direction in the medical institution was carried out for almost a year.

During the time that the GKB was a coronavirus hospital, she took part in many large clinical studies, developed more than one method of treatment and diagnosis of the disease. The advantage of the successful operation of the hospital is its modern equipment and the professionalism of the medical staff.
In total, more than 20 thousand people have been cured in the medical institution. Five thousand of them went through intensive care.
“Despite the fact that many had to switch to a round-the-clock shift mode of work, we managed to maintain both the volume and the high level of quality of medical care,” said Maryana Lysenko, chief physician of GKB 52.
During the coronavirus pandemic, volunteers worked in the hospital along with the medical staff. For many of them, this was the first experience of interacting with patients, but under the guidance of doctors, they coped. The medical institution noted that they are planning to attract volunteers to work in the future.
The return to normal operation for GKB 52 became possible thanks to the stabilization of the epidemiological situation and the large-scale vaccination that took place in Moscow.
