A resident of the English city of Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire, lost 50 kilograms after feeling humiliated during a flight on an airplane. This is reported by the Gribsby Telegraph.
Zoe Foster, 63, was returning home from a vacation in Spain. During landing, the stewardess said that due to the extra weight, the passenger needed an additional belt. She did not succeed in fastening herself in a chair with a standard belt.
“She walked down the aisle waving a bright orange belt extension and said loudly, 'Where is the woman who needs this thing?' I wanted to sink into the ground and decided that I would never let this happen again,”- said Foster.
Two days later, the Englishwoman joined the group for losing weight, and soon saw the first results. But all her efforts came to naught when she was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. Foster was practically bedridden.
The patient's condition improved thanks to drugs, but soon another threat to life was discovered. “I had a ruptured spleen. The doctors removed it to me. I spent several days in intensive care, and then another month in the hospital,”she said.
Foster emphasized that friends supported her, but she herself did not love herself. She wanted to change her body and mind, so she went to a weight loss group again and started losing weight again.
The Englishwoman completely changed her diet and limited her intake of unhealthy foods such as chocolate and alcohol.
As a result, she managed to lose 50 kilograms and improve her health. “I was on the waiting list for a knee replacement, and now I don't need it. My blood pressure has returned to normal for the first time in many years, and I rarely have manifestations of rheumatoid arthritis,”Foster boasted.
Earlier it was reported that a resident of the Indian city of Hyderabad, Telangana, who weighed 102 kilograms, lost 29 kilograms in four months and revealed the secret of success. He changed his diet and started doing home workouts.
