The specialist said that there are no drugs without side effects. “The most harmful thing that can be is to read the instructions. These pieces of paper were not written by doctors or for patients. It is not for nothing that you will never see such pieces of paper in the United States,”Myasnikov said.
According to him, in the United States, a doctor prescribes a dosage for each patient. Myasnikov expressed the opinion that people do not understand anything about contraindications, in addition, the dosages indicated in the instructions are often outdated. “If a doctor is guided by this piece of paper, then this is a bad doctor,” he said.
Earlier, Myasnikov spoke about the mortal danger of popular painkillers - non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. The specialist called their main disadvantage that such drugs are extremely harmful to the stomach. In addition, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) can cause bleeding. Myasnikov added that non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are the leading cause of heart attacks and strokes.
