“Given the fact that the use of the Sputnik V vaccine produces a high titer of neutralizing antibodies in humans, there is a possibility that in the future those who have been vaccinated will become donors. To test this hypothesis, we are starting a large-scale study in our hospitals where assistance to patients with coronavirus infection, said Anastasia Rakova.

If research proves the hypothesis, vaccinated volunteers will be invited to donate.
