It is noted that often increased indicators may not appear, but at the same time have a significant negative effect on the body, increasing the risk of cardiovascular diseases.
According to experts, the critical indicator at which it is recommended to call an ambulance is a pressure above 180/120. This condition can produce the following symptoms: chest pain, severe headache, numbness or weakness, blurred vision, shortness of breath, difficulty speaking.
If a person regularly has high blood pressure, experts advise to exercise and change dietary habits by reducing salt intake, eating more vegetables and fruits, low-fat dairy products, legumes, nuts, whole grains and unsaturated fats.
