In St. Petersburg, more than 10.1 thousand people were vaccinated against coronavirus infection. Over the past day, 780 people have been vaccinated in the city on the Neva. This was reported on January 8 at the regional operational headquarters.

A total of 10,127 people were vaccinated, of which 269 completed the vaccination cycle. The city received 22,692 sets of vaccine doses. The remainder in polyclinics is 12,565 doses.

“The third group of journalists - 20 people - was vaccinated in the 111 polyclinic of the Primorsky district. In total, over 80 media representatives have been vaccinated against coronavirus infection during the New Year holidays,”the headquarters said.

Smolny said that vaccination against the new coronavirus infection in the city continues. On January 7, the peak values for the number of vaccinations were not reached, since on that day only a third of the vaccination stations were on duty, the flow of vaccinated people in connection with the holiday was also small.

The headquarters expects that on January 8 there will be an increase in the number of vaccinations.

"In the near future, a serious increase in the number of people receiving the second component of the vaccine will begin," the headquarters said.
