Claire Haythorn contracted COVID-19 in early November and was in a coma for several weeks. Doctors said the 45-year-old patient had only three days to live. According to Claire's relatives, the effect of the medication was immediate. The woman began to recover rapidly and came out of a coma. Doctors began to gradually reduce the dose of the drug.
The doctor who prescribed the drug to the patient called her healing "a little Christmas miracle." It is not known exactly how the drug affected the patient's body.
