19-year-old Briton Joseph Flavell had an accident in March last year. All this time he lay in a coma. Recently, the guy came out of it and so far does not know anything about the pandemic. Relatives do not understand how to tell him about everything that happened during these 10 months. They don't want to shock the guy.

“I just don't know where to start. If a year ago someone had told me about everything that was about to happen, I would simply not have believed it. I have no idea how Joseph will be able to realize what we have been through,”- tells The Guardian the words of Joseph's aunt, Sarah Flavill Smith.
By the way, the coma did not prevent the Briton from having the coronavirus twice already. Now the guy is recovering from a head injury. Relatives are not yet allowed to see him. They have already tried to tell him about the millions of cases by video link, but Joseph simply does not understand them.
“When he wakes up in his room, he doesn't know why he is alone,” said Sarah Flavill Smith. Now Joseph can only answer "yes-no" by blinking his eyes. He can also raise his arms and move his legs a little. The British patient is making new strides every day.
