Drinking water is what a person needs every day. But sometimes the source of life can turn into danger. What diseases are transmitted with water, the head of the Department of Allergology and Immunology of the Central Clinical Hospital of the Russian Academy of Sciences, an allergist-immunologist, an assistant at the Department of Immunology of the Russian National Research Medical University named after V. I. N. I. Pirogova Evgenia Parshina.

Dirty water is the source of most intestinal infections. Among them are cholera, typhoid fever, dysentery and others. In addition, dirty water plays an important role in the spread of hepatitis A. Some viruses, for example, hepatitis A, are so persistent that they do not always die when boiled.
The doctor notes that the water from the Russian water pipes does not contain such pathogens. The fluid in the system is adequately cleaned and monitored by specialists.
Caution should be observed when drinking from "wild" bodies of water and when traveling to exotic countries. As a preventive measure while traveling, the specialist advises to drink water only from trusted sources, and preferably bottled (not only for drinking, but also for washing and brushing your teeth). You should also swim only in designated places.
Earlier, the head of the drinking water testing and control center, Yuri Gonchar, told MIR 24 that they are actually sold in bottles with clean drinking water.
