A bride from Hamilton, New Zealand, took offense at a wedding salon employee because of an unpleasant comment in her direction and found a way to lose 53 kilograms. Reported by the Daily Mail.

DJ Jarman, 30, described how she went to a wedding salon in Sydney in 2012 and asked her to find the right dress for her. At that time, the woman weighed 120 kilograms.

“The assistant told me:“We definitely don't have anything for your size, you need to buy a custom-made dress,”she recalls.

Then the Australian decided to lose weight. She tried different methods, including intermittent fasting, low-carb and plant-based diets, but nothing worked. In April 2019, she underwent sleeve gastrectomy. After surgery to reduce stomach volume, she changed her diet.

Previously, Jarman ate fast food, fried foods, pastries, chocolate, chips, and other snacks. In addition, she did not play sports at all. Typically, she eats oatmeal with berries and sugar-free maple syrup for breakfast, a whole-wheat tortilla with egg, salami, and vegetable salad for lunch, and chicken or steak with salad for dinner.

She connected her workouts to the right nutrition and lost up to 67 kilograms. “I do sports every day except Sunday, I like doing cardio and stretching,” said the Australian. She advised those who want to lose weight to start with small steps: give up soda and takeaway food, drink more water and eat at least one fruit daily.
