There are several ways a person can slow their development of Alzheimer's disease in the early stages of its development. Doctor of Medical Sciences Vladimir Parfenov spoke about this during a conversation with reporters.

According to the specialist, in order to reduce the rate of development of Alzheimer's disease, a person needs to listen to music, as well as do aromatherapy.
Parfenov stressed that a person who continues to engage in their professional activities and physical activity, as well as having an active social life, is able to weaken the progression of the disease.
The expert noted that music has a positive effect on human emotions, reducing anxiety and improving psychological mood.
“It causes positive changes in many parts of the brain and helps to improve human cognitive functions,” said the doctor.
In addition, the head of the Department of Nervous Diseases and Neurosurgery at one of the Russian universities said that some patients with Alzheimer's disease begin to lose their sense of smell, so aromatherapy helps some of the neurons work better, the Moskva agency reports.
