Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Director of the Institute of Clinical Endocrinology Yekaterina Troshina told why a person feels unhappy and not loved enough. This is reported by TASS. According to her, the human brain produces many active substances - biogenic amines, which are responsible for the "crystallization" of feelings, and hormones subsequently strengthen these feelings. Thus, dopamine induces a sense of pleasure in communication, increases the degree of emotional warmth and sexuality, and also induces a sense of self-confidence. Serotonin is responsible for mood swings, emotional lability, happiness and satisfaction. "But if it is not enough, there will be love-suffering, love-depression," - said the specialist. Oxytocin helps to smooth out suffering and reduce the level of anxiety and tension. “Surprisingly, just a hug is enough for the level of oxytocin to increase. The more lonely a person is, the less oxytocin he has, the more fears he experiences without this hormone of tenderness,” Troshina explained. Earlier, three quarters of Russians called their love mutual.
