The well-known doctor and TV presenter Yevgeny Komarovsky spoke about what should happen to people who decided to get themselves vaccinated against a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), according to PRIMPRESS.

According to the authoritative expert, now all leading medical organizations, as well as the World Health Organization, recommend vaccination against coronavirus even for those who have had this disease in a mild or moderate form.
At the same time, it is not necessary to do an antibody test before vaccination, Komarovsky said. Indeed, even in the presence of antibodies, vaccination will not cause any harm to the human body.
“There were concerns about this, but since several million people have already been vaccinated, and there is no data on the negative effects of vaccination on the body or the immune system of those who have already been ill, we can safely be vaccinated,” the doctor said on his Instagram page.
He also added that those who do decide to take the injection will receive much more protection from COVID in the future than if they themselves had had the infection.
“It is unambiguously known today that after vaccination the level of immune protection and the number of antibodies are higher than after a previous illness,” Komarovsky said.
Earlier it was reported that the former chief infectious disease specialist of the Moscow Department of Health, virologist Nikolai Malyshev named another category of citizens who cannot be vaccinated against a new coronavirus infection.
