The 64-year-old Volgograd resident did not seek help, feeling the first signs of the disease. After 7 days he got worse and was taken to the hospital. Doctors diagnosed him with COVID-19 with bilateral pneumonia. The pensioner suffered from chronic diseases of the cardiovascular and endocrine systems.
Also, a 56-year-old resident of the Gorodishchensky district was treated for several days. An ambulance brought him to the hospital. The man had diseases of the cardiovascular system.
It was not possible to establish the date and method of infection for a 46-year-old resident of the Kamyshinsky district and a 57-year-old man from the Kalachevsky district. They also had chronic illnesses.
But a 66-year-old resident of Uryupinsk turned to doctors immediately. Outpatient treatment was unsuccessful, so she was taken to the hospital. There she was confirmed to have COVID-19 with bilateral pneumonia. The pensioner had chronic diseases of the cardiovascular and endocrine systems.
“Despite the medical assistance provided, the patients died from complications caused by a viral disease,” the headquarters said.
