Russians are positive about the initiative of the president and the government to start mass vaccination against coronavirus.
It is curious that many are not aware of the vaccinations that many of the country's top leaders have already given themselves - for example, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu or Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. Forbes magazine claims that the Russian elite has indeed already massively taken root from the coronavirus, including the heads of many banks and captains of big business.
"After the top leaders of Russia are vaccinated, and I plan to do this …"
"If there are at least 30% positive results for the vaccine, then I would have been vaccinated. But in principle, during these six months - and I work in medicine - I have never got sick. And about travel … Well, we will go to visit each other.. Yes, we still fly … So we need to accept and somehow live with this further. Well, of course, we must try to protect ourselves, but I am against masking. And I wear only because I am afraid of a fine., during these six months I didn’t get sick, and I didn’t wear a mask! I didn’t protect myself with anything! And nothing!"
"And I do not trust the Russian vaccine yet. Although I am generally against the vaccine. Because if you get vaccinated, and then you get sick, the disease progresses more difficult. That's why I'm so used to it. I have had 2 coronavirus cases this year: once in a severe form and once in the lung. And so I think that, in principle, my immunity is already more developed."
"I trust the Russian vaccine. I am not going to get vaccinated. So far, at least not.
Question: The Minister of Health has proposed limiting travel between regions during the holidays. Do you think this is the correct measure or not?
- Well, probably correct. I'm not going to move anywhere - maximum: "work-home-kitchen-bedroom".
"All this does not scare me, because I have been meeting the New Year at home all my life. I have not so many relatives. I practically do not move on New Year's. I think that this is not a" criminal "situation. because I already have some diseases, and I would like to keep them at a stable level so that I do not have any deterioration. Therefore, I do not want to get vaccinated, because when a person is vaccinated, then he is equally one way or another suffers the disease. And it is not known how this will affect my diseases. Therefore, I am apprehensive, and so - who is healthy and young - why not?"
For pensioners and people with weakened immunity in Russia, in addition to the famous "Sputnik-V", another vaccine is now being tested, which is not based on a live culture of the strain.
