The Governor of the Moscow Region, Andrei Vorobyov, announced the formation of his immunity to coronavirus after the second stage of vaccination with the Russian drug "Sputnik V". This was reported by RIAMO on Tuesday, November 3.
“I measured the antibodies yesterday, they appeared. After the first [vaccination] there was no on the 20th day, but after the second vaccination, literally three days later, they already appeared,”said Vorobyov.
According to the head of the region, after the first injection his temperature rose, but now he feels well.
Earlier Vorobyov announced that mass vaccination against COVID-19 in the Moscow region will begin in January. According to him, vaccinations will be available through the compulsory medical insurance system.
The Russian vaccine "Sputnik V", registered in August, is a two-component vaccine, that is, two injections are required for vaccination with an interval of several weeks. "Sputnik V" was previously inoculated by Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
The second Russian anti-coronavirus vaccine, EpiVacCorona, was registered on October 14.
