The head of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Murashko, said that masks must be worn even after vaccination against coronavirus. In this case, the level of antibodies is not important, since masks protect against the spread of infection.
“Citizens who have been vaccinated against a new coronavirus infection must wear masks regardless of the antibody titer before the formation of population immunity,” the minister said.
Murashko explained that even after vaccination, a person can be a carrier of infection and infect unprotected people.
