In total, since the beginning of the spread of the respiratory disease, 33 thousand 961 people have been infected. This was reported to the UralPolit.Ru correspondent in the press service of the South Ural Ministry of Health. According to official data, 11,603 residents of Chelyabinsk remain on treatment. At the same time, for the day as of December 24, 154 people were discharged. This is about half of the daily number of cases. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 21 thousand 118 patients have recovered. To detect infection in laboratories during the pandemic, 1 million 176 thousand 466 studies were carried out using ELISA and PCR methods for COVID-19. Over the past day - 5 thousand 388 tests.
