MOSCOW, December 28. / TASS /. About 16 thousand people have already been vaccinated against coronavirus in the Moscow region. This was announced during a meeting of the regional government by the Minister of Health of the Moscow Region Svetlana Strigunkova.

"Almost 32.5 thousand people receive treatment at home (with coronavirus - approx. TASS). All vaccination points against coronavirus in the Moscow region are open, all 94 points. Vaccines have been delivered since the beginning of vaccination, almost 16 thousand. Remaining unused doses - 3 265 vaccines ", - said Strigunkova.

According to her, in the coming week the Moscow region will receive an additional "Epivakkorona" in the amount of a thousand doses intended for the vaccination of medical workers and employees of Rospotrebnadzor. The delivery of 80,000 doses of the coronavirus vaccine is expected in January.

“I ask you to start an information campaign so that residents understand where they can get vaccinated and what is needed for this,” the minister added.

Earlier, Strigunkova reported that residents of the Moscow region from December 14 can sign up for vaccination against a new coronavirus infection.
