Hot batteries negatively affect the general condition of the body, drying out the air in the room. This, in turn, leads to fatigue and decreased performance. Therapist Olga Burlakova told NEWS.ru about this.
Hot batteries raise the air temperature and reduce the humidity from 40-60% to 20-30%, as a result of which a person becomes vulnerable to disease, moreover, is prone to fatigue and drowsiness.
Also, according to the expert, the Russians, because of the dry air, are faced with the "dry" eye syndrome, which leads to conjunctivitis, as well as dry nasal mucosa.
“If the nasal mucosa is dry, a person is more likely to contract respiratory diseases. It is not for nothing that people begin to encounter them more often in autumn and winter, because it is during this period that the apartments are heated and the air humidity decreases,”Burlakova said.
As the expert noted, humidifiers can fix this. If it is not possible to install special devices, then you can use other methods, for example, drying clothes in the room, installing containers of water near the batteries. It is also recommended to ventilate the apartment at least three times a day for 15 minutes.
