The Governor of the Sakhalin Region Valery Limarenko gave himself a shot against the coronavirus with the Russian Sputnik V vaccine. He announced this on October 30 on his page in the social network Instagram.

“Indeed, I took part in the trials of Sputnik V, a domestic vaccine against coronavirus,” Limarenko wrote in his message, answering the question whether he was vaccinated against coronavirus.
He also clarified that the proposal was received in July, and the governor agreed to it.
“A month later, according to the test results, the doctors realized that in my case the tests were successful, and I developed immunity. For me, the result is also obvious: the vaccine really works,”said Limarenko.
