MOSCOW, March 1. / TASS /. The Governor of the Moscow Region, Andrei Vorobyov, asked the regional healthcare block to be as open as possible and offer residents additional convenient formats for coronavirus vaccination. He announced this on Monday during a meeting with deputy prime ministers and heads of city districts.

"We in Russia are in the green zone [for vaccination against coronavirus], but, unfortunately, we are not leaders, but must be leaders. For this we need constant mobilization. We see that vaccination is yielding results. This allows us to concentrate our the efforts of our doctors on routine regular care and to increase its effectiveness, which means saving a large number of lives. Therefore, I ask the team of the Ministry of Health, chief doctors to be as open as possible and offer some additional convenient vaccination formats, "Vorobiev said.

He recalled that a service is working in the Moscow region to remind by SMS about the passage of the second stage of vaccination against the new coronavirus infection. "Also a trifle, but important and convenient. I also ask you to accompany, monitor and make sure that everyone knows when a second vaccine is needed," Vorobiev added.

In the Moscow region, you can sign up for vaccination at the clinic on the State Services portal, by calling 122, at the clinic and the MFC. You can get vaccinated without an appointment in mobile complexes or shopping centers. It is enough to have a passport and a compulsory medical insurance policy with you.

Persons over 18 years of age who have no contraindications can get vaccinated against coronavirus. Vaccinations are free of charge.
