The Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine was registered in San Marino, a small European country surrounded on all sides by Italy. The republic became the 30th country to register this vaccine.

The Republic of San Marino is the 30th country to approve Sputnik V, according to the vaccine's official Twitter account.

The oldest state in Europe, San Marino, has joined 29 other countries in the world today, where Sputnik V will become one of the main tools in the fight against coronavirus, RIA Novosti quotes the CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) Kirill Dmitriev.

He also stressed that Sputnik V is currently recognized by medical specialists and government regulators as one of the most effective, safe and affordable drugs.

The use of this vaccine, in addition to Russia, was approved in Belarus, Argentina, Bolivia, Serbia, Algeria, Palestine, Venezuela, Paraguay, Turkmenistan, Hungary, United Arab Emirates, Iran, Guinea, Tunisia, Armenia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Republika Srpska (Bosnia and Herzegovina Entity), Lebanon, Myanmar, Pakistan, Mongolia, Bahrain, Montenegro, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Gabon.

As NEWS.ru wrote, doctor and senator Sergei Leonov explained the main differences between Russian vaccines against coronavirus: EpiVacCorona, KoviVac and Sputnik V. "EpiVacCorona", he said, is the mildest vaccine, it is artificially synthesized and will have fewer side effects. The expert called "Sputnik V" an "average version", the body's reaction to it is quite active, often accompanied by an increase in body temperature. And the most vigorous vaccine is KoviVac. It carries a large number of antigens, the body's response to it will be more pronounced, and as a result, more stable immunity is developed. The doctor advised young and middle-aged people with good health to be vaccinated with KoviVac, the elderly with EpiVacKorona, and Sputnik V according to indications.
