The success of Russian-made vaccines against coronavirus could lead to a new surge of Russophobia in the West. This opinion was expressed by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
I think that in the coming days we will witness some more rather strong Russophobic statements or actions, for one simple reason: the third [Russian] vaccine has appeared. And almost every day another country appears, which has registered our vaccine, - said Zakharova on the air of the YouTube channel "Solovyov Live".
She recalled that Moscow has repeatedly characterized the reaction of Western countries to drugs from Russia as a "war of vaccines." At the same time, according to Zakharova, the Russian side has always tried to avoid such an approach and called for cooperation to save the lives of people around the world.
As NEWS.ru reported, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) said that reports that Russia had submitted an incorrect application for registration of the Sputnik V coronavirus vaccination drug to the European regulator (EMA) are untrue.
