The results of the 15th Director of the Year National Award have been summed up. The expert council of the award recognized the best managers with awards.
The annual National Director of the Year Award, established by the Association of Independent Directors, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and PricewaterhouseCoopers, recognizes the achievements of directors of Russian companies in implementing high standards of corporate governance.
At the end of 2020, representatives of Alfa-Bank and the Moscow Exchange, such companies as Lukoil, MTS, Sovcomflot, Phosagro, ChTPZ and Unipro, became laureates of the prestigious award. Regina von Flemming won the Independent Director nomination. Since 2015, she has been an independent director on the MTS Board of Directors, where she chairs the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
In total, the Expert Council of the Director of the Year National Award awarded nine directors for their contribution to the development of the institution of corporate governance in Russia, and Gazprom Neft won as the most transparent company in information.
