Georgia Carlton (GeorgiCarlton) from childhood was full. By the seventh grade, the girl weighed 125 kilograms, and after graduation she added another 10 kilograms. “I've always told myself that I just got fat,” she explains.

The turning point was a trip to Disneyland three years ago. Carlton was constantly worried that due to her excess weight, she would not be allowed to ride the rides, and due to arthritis, her knees hurt. After returning, she decided to change her life and, on the advice of her friend, began to follow the weight loss program of the WW company.

The woman learned to keep track of portion sizes, learned about healthy alternatives to certain foods, and was surprised to find that she didn't have to give up her favorite foods to lose weight. In the fourth month of the diet, she began to increase physical activity and now goes to the gym six times a week. Since November 2017, she has managed to lose weight from 127 to 72 kilograms.

Carlton advises not to set yourself impossible tasks. “You can start small,” she says. - I tell people: if you want to increase physical activity, just decide that you will walk around your neighborhood for two weeks, five minutes a day. If you want to do some nutrition, just decide that you will have a big healthy salad instead of lunch for two weeks.

Another lesson she learned while losing weight is that perseverance is more important than perfect adherence to all the rules. In addition, it is important not to interfere with yourself. “We can achieve a lot,” says the woman. - But all sorts of thoughts stop us. If we get them out of the way, it will be impossible to stop us."
