This was reported to TASS by Mikhail Lebedev, an expert at the CMD Center for Molecular Diagnostics of the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor.

He clarified that it is best to ventilate the premises at work in a pass-through mode and in the absence of people, and you should always open the windows after a visit of visitors. At home, it is enough to do this two or three times a day, and if it is not cold outside, then more often.

According to Lebedev, such a simple way to prevent coronavirus and other respiratory infections, nevertheless, is considered one of the most effective, since infectious agents are removed during ventilation, which greatly reduces the risk of getting sick.

In offices, the infection can be transmitted through the air - aerosol.

“Such transmission becomes possible in confined spaces with limited air exchange,” he stressed.

This is important to consider when developing measures to prevent coronavirus.
