Most often, young people who have suffered a mild illness suffer from the consequences of the transferred coronavirus infection, journalist Anton Krasovsky said in the documentary "Postkovid".

- It would seem that complications after covid should occur in the most "severe" patients who are in intensive care on mechanical ventilation. In fact, this is not the case. The majority of people with the so-called covid tail are young people who have never been in intensive care and, most likely, did not go to doctors about COVID-19 and did not even notice it, '' Krasovsky explained.
After recovery, people feel a sharp weakness, people notice that they cannot go up to the third floor, and they develop shortness of breath. Tests show clinical changes throughout the body. Why this is happening, doctors do not yet know for sure, the journalist noted.
According to the UK National Statistical Office, one in five people have symptoms for more than five weeks after suffering a coronavirus infection, according to the scientific journal Lancet.
