The epidemiological situation with COVID-19 in the world has tended to worsen in the past few weeks. This was stated by the Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko at the international inter-party forum "United Russia" SCO +, reports TASS. He is taking part in the event online, as he went into self-isolation due to a family member who had a coronavirus. “The COVID-19 pandemic also revealed problems in the countries of the regularity of providing the population with planned treatment and preventive measures. This is a serious challenge that requires greater flexibility and improvement of the health care system without exception of all countries,”the minister said. He noted that the SCO countries should put the interests of patients above all else, "not allowing the prevalence of economic preferences over the value of human life." The head of the Ministry of Health added that the Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine shows good results in post-registration studies. He also said that in three weeks it is planned to complete the flu vaccination of 60% of the population of Russia.
