Elena Tsareva, the head of the sleep service "Unison", the head of the "Stress and Sleep" section of the international society "Stress under Control", spoke about the correct sleep schedule on holidays.
“It is better to get up on New Year's holidays the same way as for work, to keep the time of awakening. But you can sleep during the day,”she said in an interview with Sputnik radio.
According to her, 10-15 minutes is enough for a "reboot".
As Tsareva noted, it is also better not to allow constant lack of sleep, since even one sleepless night is enough to reduce the level of cells that help fight infections.
“In addition, people with lack of sleep are more anxious, have lower moods, and higher risks of depression. Not to mention the fact that the appetite rises, especially in the evening or at night it is drawn to the harmful - flour, sweet,”- she explained.
For her part, psychologist, personal growth coach Lily of the Valley Safiullina, in an interview with Nation News, expressed the opinion that the New Year's bustle often causes nervous conditions.
“Getting enough sleep and having a basic knowledge of planning and time management is important to support yourself during this time,” she said.
The expert recommends making a plan of tasks for the day and trying to complete the most important points in the morning.
Earlier, psychologist Natalya Varskaya, in an interview with RT, named the main reasons why people can decide to abandon the New Year celebration.
