Normal sleep is an important component of a healthy lifestyle and, accordingly, makes a significant contribution to the state of human health. With chronic lack of sleep and other sleep disorders, the capabilities of the body's defenses are significantly reduced. This favors both infection and the development of more severe forms of the disease.
It should be noted that this is far from a unique phenomenon. In general, in addition to proper sleep, there are several components of a healthy lifestyle, non-compliance with which leads to a painful condition and increases susceptibility to infection, including coronavirus.
