According to SberIndex, Voronezh and Perm topped the list of Russian cities with the highest risk of coronavirus infection. Moscow, in turn, is among the cities where the risk of infection is the least likely. This is reported by RBC with reference to a large-scale study "How the Russian economy copes with the second wave."

As part of the study, SberIndex analyzed the dynamics of GDP, consumer spending, wages, demand and other economic indicators. Using the symptom-checker system, analysts found that the risk of contracting coronavirus in Perm and Voronezh is 15 percent higher than the average in Russia. Also, a high risk is observed in Irkutsk and Novosibirsk - there the probability of the disease is 7 percent higher than the national average.

In Khabarovsk, Krasnoyarsk, Chelyabinsk, Omsk and Saratov, residents are at risk just like all other Russians. According to SberIndex, in terms of epidemiology, Moscow, Krasnodar and Nizhny Novgorod are the safest. Also, the probability of infection is below average in Kazan, Samara, Rostov-on-Don, Ufa, Tyumen, Vladivostok, St. Petersburg.

Earlier on November 20, Rospotrebnadzor named the best way to protect children from coronavirus: experts recommended encouraging children to wash their hands regularly.
