The doctor recalled that the fast pace of life, coupled with anxiety, lead to sleep disturbance, which, in turn, negatively affects the body. In order to ensure a healthy sleep, the specialist advised to adhere to the rule that you need to go to bed earlier and get up no later than seven in the morning.
“If you stick to this regime for a while, you can create a healthy work and rest routine,” Shi Hui said.
Among other things, it is reported that an hour before bedtime you need to restrict access to your smartphone, since the light from the display interferes with the synthesis of the sleep hormone melatonin. Also, do not consume strong tea, coffee and other stimulating drinks before bedtime.
Activities to do before bed include taking a hot bath, reading books, and abdominal breathing.
