Anamnesis There is still no consensus about where and how the new strain of influenza came to us. To date, four strains of this infection have been officially registered, although the authorities in the UK, the Netherlands, Australia and South Africa claim that they have identified the fifth mutation of the virus. It is clear that sooner or later all this will reach us. However, the real causes of the infection have not been clarified. For the population, a version has been put forward that the virus allegedly came from rodents and bats. But some experts question this story. Among them is Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergei Glazyev, who is sure that the coronavirus was created by hand. He is supported by a former member of the UN Commission on Biological and Chemical Weapons, military expert Igor Nikulin, who believes that a hybrid virus consisting of two parts plus four inserts from HIV is clearly a new generation of biological weapons, and such a combination could not have been achieved in nature. Military observer Viktor Baranets agrees with his opinion. Today, doctors around the world do not really know how to deal with this type of flu. Basically, drugs that are common for the disease are used, which should protect the body from pneumonia and diabetes mellitus. And doctor Alexander Myasnikov, well-known throughout the country, acts as a fatalist at all: they say, the whole world will get sick with COVID-19, just different people, due to different levels of immunity, will have a different course of disease. Nevertheless, scientists all over the world are trying to find an antidote. And Russia is a leader in this respect. Two vaccines have already been patented, and work is underway on another 20 drugs. Moreover, the first consignments are delivered to the regions, including the Chelyabinsk region. Of course, this is clearly not enough, but this is only the beginning. Panacea? At the end of November, 42 consignments of the coronavirus vaccine arrived in Chelyabinsk. It was decided to be the first to vaccinate those who are at maximum risk every day - doctors, health workers, teachers, police officers. All in all, according to the governor Alexei Teksler, vaccinations will take place in 69 regional, city and district hospitals. The governor himself, as an experiment, was vaccinated against the virus in the summer. He still feels rather well. Time has shown the effectiveness of the drug - not a single vaccinated person got sick. Although everyone's body reacted differently. Someone on the first day felt weak, someone was very sleepy, and someone did not notice anything at all. The first vice-governor of the Chelyabinsk region, Irina Gekht, promised to allocate a small batch of doses for journalists so that media workers could experience vaccination on themselves and tell readers about their feelings. By the way, the deputy governor was one of the first to test the effect of the antidote on herself. “I gave the vaccine in August in Moscow at the Research Institute of Gamaleya. It definitely triggers an immune response. The vaccine is quite reactogenic, at least for me, but it was only one day, the same symptoms are abdominal pain, headache, there was no fever. Those who were vaccinated before me and were vaccinated now do not notice such consequences, so this is probably an individual reaction of the body. But the fact that antibodies have developed is absolutely certain,”the first vice-governor recalls today. Among the first, on whom the drug was tested, was the leader of the regional branch of the political party "Fair Russia" Valery Gartung. The vaccination managed to develop the required amount of antibodies, therefore, when the politician later caught the coronavirus, the disease passed quickly and easily. The mayor of Chelyabinsk, Natalya Kotova, has not yet been vaccinated. For two reasons. She delivered a vaccine against the common flu, and after that, other vaccines can be given no earlier than 30 days later. In addition, she had been ill with pneumonia, after which strong drugs are contraindicated for the body. The press service of the region's legislative assembly explained that there has been no mass vaccination of deputies yet, as local legislators understand that currently the vaccine is needed by other services that are at the forefront of the fight against the virus. And some of the high officials basically do not want to give an injection. Some beautifully say that vaccination is more useful to ordinary people, others are not completely sure of its effectiveness. For example, the chairman of the regional election commission, Sergei Obertas, has not yet made up his mind on this matter, but he would consider such a possibility. “But I already have antibodies of class G, I have had little symptoms. Probably, I do not need to [be vaccinated], it is more necessary for those who really do not have antibodies and who are definitely more at risk than me. Although we also use a hybrid model of work, we only meet for important reasons with respect to social distance. We carry out a lot of work remotely through various sites on the Internet,”said the head of the election commission. According to experts, the vaccine can have a positive effect only if the person giving the vaccine is absolutely healthy. Otherwise, the injection will be completely useless, and in some cases, for example, with an asymptomatic course of the disease, on the contrary, it will lead to sharply negative results. Vaccination is contraindicated for persons with ARVI symptoms, for pregnant women. Persons over 60 years of age are not included in the vaccination protocol. Therefore, fear of infection should not obscure common sense. The first batch of vaccine that arrived in Chelyabinsk is "Gam-covid-vac". The drug was created on the basis of "Sputnik V" and does not cause any serious consequences after use. “But we are waiting for the next vaccine from Novosibirsk. All hope is for him. It is developed on the same platform as the American Pfizer, based on RNA. There is no protein in it, it is two-component, "a source from the" red "zone of the regional hospital in Chelyabinsk told the FederalPress correspondent in Chelyabinsk. The next batch of the vaccine, in addition to the regional center, went to Magnitogorsk, Satka, Miass and three closed cities. Warehouse Today, the Regional Pharmacy warehouse stores 3,700 coronavirus vaccines. As the experts explained, delivering the drug is also not an easy matter. The medicine can be transported at a temperature of minus 70 degrees, and it must be stored at a temperature of at least minus 18 degrees. Thaw vaccines approximately 30 minutes before use. In the next day or two, the vaccine will spread throughout the region. Even in closed cities. “Yes, there are complaints from the prohibitions - Ozersk, Snezhinsk, Trekhgorny - that the vaccine does not reach them. But instead of the promised 3,000 vaccines, 3,700 came to Chelyabinsk, so it was decided to send some of them to closed areas,”said Marina Sergeeva, press secretary of the regional Ministry of Health. In Chelyabinsk, the antidote was admitted to five hospitals. There is no vaccine on the free market, and it is unlikely that it will appear in pharmacies in the near future. The cost of the course, designed for two vaccinations, is 3.5 thousand rubles, but since specialists from the risk group are being vaccinated, they naturally do not take money from doctors, teachers and law enforcement officers. According to forecasts, by the New Year, the capital of the Southern Urals should receive another 10 thousand doses of Gam-covid-vac, and from the beginning of 2021 a new vaccine from Novosibirsk will enter the fight against the infection.
