Medical workers in Odessa, who were vaccinated against coronavirus with the Indian drug Covieshield / AstraZeneca, announced a deterioration in their health. This was reported by UNIAN with reference to the head of the health department of the city council, Elena Yakimenko. In 22 out of 60 vaccinated medical workers, the temperature rose from 37.2 to 38.5 degrees. “There are complaints about deteriorating health,” the official said. According to her, initially it was planned to vaccinate about a thousand medical workers in Ukraine, but later some of them refused to be vaccinated. According to Yakimenko, this was because everyone was expecting a delivery of the vaccine from Pfizer, not Covieshield / AstraZeneca. "It was she who initially agreed to vaccinate 496 medical workers. As a result, we received AstraZenec (the Indian analogue of Covishield. - Gazeta.Ru), and people began to refuse," she said. Seven days ago, the plane with the drug landed at the Kiev Borispol airport. A total of 500 thousand doses of the vaccine produced in India were delivered to Ukraine.
