Alexander Popov spent two months in the hospital, including 31 days in intensive care, 18 in a coma, and eight days on a ventilator. During his illness, he lost 20 kilograms. It was in April, but only the other day Alexander Dmitrievich returned from Alushta. In the Crimean sanatorium, he literally learned to breathe, walk and speak. Was recovering. “I came and decided to go up to the fifth floor, to the office, without an elevator,” he said. - It worked, but with slight shortness of breath. And this is an achievement! After all, when he periodically regained consciousness in the intensive care unit, he asked the Lord for death. There was no strength to endure all this, Alexander Dmitrievich, like many, took the coronavirus for a mild cold and tried to be treated at home for a week. On the second day of illness, he was sent for a CT scan and was diagnosed with COVID-19. No antibiotics helped, he began to choke, felt weak and asked his family to call an ambulance. The ambulance brought Aleksandr Popov to the Moscow hospital 67. He was placed in a single ward and made oxygen masks. To no avail. Once, gasping for breath, Alexander Dmitrievich went out into the corridor to call a nurse and lost consciousness. I woke up in intensive care, all in tubes and droppers. “Twice they took me out of the other world, twice my kidneys failed,” said Alexander Popov. - My friends prayed for me. The man's throat was pierced to insert the tubes, and it is still difficult for him to talk: from time to time his voice disappears. - The likelihood of re-infection with the coronavirus remains, so I do not part with the mask, gloves and avoid crowds, - Alexander Dmitrievich shared. - I advise everyone not to hope at random, but to take all possible measures to protect against COVID-19. Be healthy! Recorded by Svetlana VAVAYEVA
