Vaccination against coronavirus infection with two different drugs will not help fight the coronavirus more effectively. Such vaccinations are not recommended. This was stated by Paul Stoffels, Deputy Chairman of the Board and Chief Scientist of Johnson & Johnson.
Double vaccinations don't help. Getting an extra dose doesn't provide more protection, Stoffels said during an online briefing by the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations.
He stressed that experts do not know how safe vaccination with two different vaccines will be. He was supported by Pfizer CEO Albert Burla. He stressed that this double vaccination has not been tested.
Earlier, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) confirmed the effectiveness of the vaccine Pfizer and BioNTech. The tests were attended by 38 thousand volunteers over 16 years old. No complaints were found to prohibit the emergency use of this drug.

Washington decided to buy 100 million doses of the vaccine with the subsequent possibility of purchasing another 500 million doses, which will allow the population to be vaccinated by the summer of 2021, but the pharmaceutical company will most likely not be able to provide such volumes of supplies within the specified time frame.
