TASS, November 9. The test for coronavirus infection of the defender of Zenit and the Russian youth national football team Danil Krugovoy showed a dubious result. This was reported by the press service of the national team.
The footballer is in the disposition of the Russian youth team. It is isolated and will continue to be tested on a daily basis. The 22-year-old has no symptoms of the disease. The rest of the players of the national team and members of the headquarters underwent additional express testing, all the results were negative.
Krugovoy is a pupil of Zenit, from 2018 to 2019 he played for Ufa, and then returned to the St. Petersburg club. He has played 14 games in all tournaments this season with three assists. For the youth national team of Russia, Krugovoy played in six matches, scoring one goal.
In the November window for the national team matches, the Russian youth team will play two friendly matches - with the Hungarians (November 13) and the Slovenes (November 17), both matches will be held away. Earlier, the Russian national team won a ticket to the European Youth Championship, which will be held in 2021.
