An ambulance should go to Russians with coronavirus infection, based on clear criteria, said Igor Pushkarev, head physician of the Yekaterinburg ambulance station. His words are reported by ura.ru.

He explained that the ambulance only goes to those calls that are considered emergency. The patient's temperature should be kept at 38.5 degrees for more than three days, and shortness of breath should also be present, in which the respiratory rate exceeds the allowable 17-18 breaths per minute.
If an ambulance is called by a person over 65, then the criterion for the departure of doctors is a high temperature in the presence of chronic diseases. “And if you have a sore throat, no sense of smell and nothing else, then this is an emergency,” the specialist noted.
Pushkarev said that the ambulance does not do research for coronavirus and does not take smears from patients, and those who suspect they have a coronavirus need to go to the emergency room at the city polyclinic.
Over the past day, 255 people fell ill with coronavirus in the Sverdlovsk region, 339 patients recovered.
