Russian President Vladimir Putin is not satisfied with the level of gasification in Russia; the country's government will work in this direction. The President announced this during his speech at the Russia Calling Forum. “I cannot say that I am satisfied with the level of gasification in the country, although it is also developing. Today the average level of gasification is about 70%, and in the Central Federal District - 85%. In some regions we still have a lot to do,”Putin said. He noted that deliveries of Russian gas for export not only ensure the break-even operation of Gazprom, but also create financial conditions for the implementation of plans to gasify the country. “We will continue to implement gasification programs. The corresponding additional instructions were given to the government. I am waiting for concrete proposals. The main thing for us here is to synchronize not only the laying of main gas pipelines, but also to synchronize it with the possibilities of municipalities to bring these pipeline systems to the end consumer, to ensure this "last mile". We will undoubtedly work in this direction,”said the President of the Russian Federation.
