Taking activated charcoal and other adsorbents before drinking alcohol leads to the fact that a person, as a result, drinks a lot of alcohol during a party, and this is fraught with a stroke or heart attack. This was reported in an interview to the Moscow City News Agency by the chief freelance psychiatrist-narcologist of the Ministry of Health of Russia and the Moscow Department of Health Evgeny Brun.

“It is possible to prevent alcoholic intoxication (with the help of activated charcoal - approx. By the Moscow Agency), but then intoxication will not occur. And until a person breaks through this alcoholic defense, he drinks a very large amount of alcohol, raush-anesthesia will come - a kind of blow to the head. Therefore, there is no need to set up such experiments on yourself. For most people who try to put such tricks into practice, as a rule, everything ends up with a quick and catastrophic intoxication, at best sleep, and at worst - pancreatic necrosis, stroke or heart attack,”said Brune.

According to him, with alcohol intoxication, the body's systems stop working synchronously and can completely refuse at a critical moment for him.
