Until now, 230 doses of vaccine have been delivered to the station, but 1150 doses are to be delivered already. The head physician of the hospital Natalya Viktor told the governor that they would start vaccinating immediately, there are a lot of people who want to, and patients are waiting for it.
According to the registrar of the vaccination center, just this morning, 16 people signed up for the vaccination. A waiting list has been drawn up - both of those who signed up on their own, and those who are at risk and will be vaccinated according to the guild principle.
The head of the region asked about the speed of vaccination and the throughput of the checkpoint.
"I asked to conduct a kind of training on the number of vaccinated at a specific point - how many people will be vaccinated per day. How do you estimate?" the governor asked. Employees said that the procedure itself takes about 10 minutes, so up to 120 people a day can be vaccinated.
"Let's strive for this figure, because the speed of delivery of vaccines to the region will now depend on how quickly we cope with the task. We need to work at an accelerated pace. Therefore, we doubled the number of vaccination points in the region, organized mobile vaccination points so that people do not waited for it to be convenient for them to go through this important procedure, "the governor emphasized.
The formation of herd immunity directly depends on vaccination coverage - and therefore the ability to resist the virus. The effectiveness of this method is proven not only by scientific research, but also by specific examples. Last year, thanks to the attention of the governor and upholding the interests of the region at the federal level, a large number of flu vaccinations were delivered to the Samara region, which made it possible to vaccinate 60% of the region's population. The result is being evaluated today: this year not a single case of influenza has been confirmed.
“We worked it out, carried out the vaccination campaign, vaccinated the population: not a single case of influenza. And here it is better for us to work promptly. We understand that every day is important,” the governor emphasized.
