The Governor visited the Regional Clinical Hospital 2 (formerly the Fishermen's Hospital), where the premises are now being renovated. According to the head physician Svetlana Beniova, by December 1, the clinic will have 100 covid beds. “The hospital has already provided one hundred and five beds for patients with coronavirus. To increase the bed capacity, it is necessary to mount a security and fire alarm system, oxygen concentrators,”said the head physician. And in the Vladivostok Clinical Hospital 1, an additional 40 beds to the existing 30 for the treatment of patients with COVID-19 will start working within a week - for these purposes, the gynecology department is used. As the chief physician Yevgeny Shestopalov reported to the governor, the hospital is currently undergoing repairs, equipment is being placed, staff is being recruited. Observatory for students In addition, an observatory will appear in the city, designed for students with mild respiratory diseases who have encountered problems when settling in a hostel. To take care of the health of this category of patients, as well as to unload the bed fund, the head of the Primorsky Territory ordered the creation of an observatory in Vladivostok for 50-70 beds. “Students or cadets who cannot live in a family can be accommodated there, but they are not allowed into the hostel.
