“We have no problems with blood supplies, publications can be different, we carefully deal with everything, and medicines in hospitals, medicines that we have been supplying to patients with covid since July, we have all the necessary supplies here. rush demand in certain pharmacies, but these problems, including in the manual mode, are solved, "Chibis said.
He added that the region managed to stabilize the situation with coronavirus, the number of cases is declining. "Beds are being vacated, the situation still remains tense, of course, but we no longer see just stabilization, even positive dynamics," the governor said.
At the same time, the official website of the Murmansk regional blood transfusion station notes that there are not enough donors. "In this difficult time, the number of patients does not decrease, patients still need donor blood. At the moment, a shortage of donor personnel has formed at the SEC [blood transfusion station]," it was reported.
Doctors of the regional blood transfusion station urge residents, if they are healthy, not to refuse donations and donate blood and blood plasma.
According to the operational headquarters of the region, as of Thursday morning, 277 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in the Murmansk region. The total number of confirmed cases of the new coronavirus infection since the beginning of the pandemic is 32,258. The number of beds available for the treatment of patients with coronavirus in the region is 24% of the total.
