Both victims were vaccinated with the drug from the same batch at the clinic in Zwetle (federal state of Lower Austria). "There is currently no evidence of a causal relationship with vaccination," BASG said. The conclusion was made due to the fact that thrombotic disorders are not among the known side effects of the vaccine from AstraZeneca, RIA Novosti notes. Despite this, the agency decided to investigate and not use the remainder of the batch of the drug, which was administered to both women.
