One of the social service institutions is the rehabilitation center "On Kazanskaya"

In the context of a pandemic, the center has restructured its work, and now it provides rehabilitation assistance in a new format - instead of admission in a hospital, specialists go to their homes, which is a worthy alternative to providing rehabilitation assistance in stationary and semi-stationary forms.
One of those who are now undergoing rehabilitation is Valentin Pustovoit from Kirov. The man is 64 years old and at the moment his left side of the body is paralyzed. Every day, under the supervision of doctors, he works to strengthen and restore the body. Even in a pandemic, a man continues to receive the necessary assistance, but no longer in the very center, but at home.
I tried to study on my own, but the lack of certain knowledge and skills affects the result, - says Valentin Pustovoit. - Now specialists come to my home - it is very convenient. Thanks to the exercises, my general condition improved, the mobility of the affected arm and leg increased, and most importantly, my emotional state improved - I know that competent and qualified specialists help me to cope with this situation, I trust them.
The Ministry of Health emphasized that rehabilitation courses are developed individually for each patient who needs them. First, a doctor must leave for the initial appointment - he conducts an examination and decides on the need to provide one or another assistance. One team includes massage therapists, exercise therapy specialists, psychologists and specialists in complex rehabilitation, and the duration of the course is from 14 to 28 days.
Note that the staff of the center works in compliance with all anti-coronavirus measures.
It is important for a person with impaired body functions to continuously engage in the rehabilitation process under the guidance of qualified specialists. Since November last year, 22 people living in the city of Kirov have undergone home rehabilitation. This form of work has found a positive response from citizens, therefore, as soon as the center "Na Kazanskaya" resumes its activities and begins to work in the same mode, if desired, citizens can continue to receive rehabilitation assistance at home. Since March 1, home rehabilitation services have been provided to residents of the city of Kirovo-Chepetsk, - noted the director of the center "On Kazanskaya" Ksenia Sumarokova
