In the form of syringe-doses - in the Novosibirsk State Scientific Center of Virology and Biotechnology "Vector", a bottling line for the EpiVacCorona anticoid vaccine has been launched. The ceremony was attended by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The head of government said that the bulk of the mass vaccination of Russians against coronavirus should be completed by autumn, MIR 24 reports. He stressed the importance of scaling up the production of Russian vaccines.
“It's very important to do it faster. People need it. I know that a lot of effort has been put in by Vector. I hope that the scaling will soon reach a serious volume of industrial production in order for us to complete the mass vaccination before the corresponding wave,”Mishustin emphasized.
The prime minister also noted the well-coordinated work of Russian scientists and doctors who are working on antiviral drugs.
“The link between science, medicine and production is an important chain. And I really hope that scaling will enable all of our vaccines, EpiVacCorone and all that have been registered, to become a reliable stronghold in the fight against coronavirus and infections in general, "the Prime Minister concluded.
