
There are several ways to recognize when you overeat. They were revealed in a conversation on the Zvezda TV channel by valeologist Nadezhda Chernyshova.
It is often difficult to determine when to stop and not eat more, she said. One of these signs will be a feeling of distension of the stomach after eating, sometimes painful, as well as belching, discomfort in the abdomen, fermentation of gases.
The urge to sleep after a meal is another signal of overeating. “After a hearty meal, a person who has begun to move notices that he is sweating more than usual,” Chernyshova added.
She noted that this situation can be avoided by initially limiting the serving size to a quarter of the desired amount. In addition, it is recommended to eat only when you feel hungry, not watch TV while eating, chew food for longer, and avoid snacking.
Overeating is harmful to health, the doctor said. It not only leads to weight gain, but also increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases, provokes fatty liver hepatosis, stress and sleep can worsen.
Earlier, Chernyshova said that separate nutrition can lead to the occurrence of chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.
