"The problem of lack of micronutrients, in particular vitamins, it was not so pronounced, now it is very pronounced, this is about 60% of practically healthy people are not protected from adverse environmental factors," said the chief nutritionist of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, scientific director of the Federal Center for Nutrition, biotechnology and food safety Victor Tutelyan.

He stressed that Russian nutritionists should be guided by similar experience of foreign countries to develop algorithms for taking vitamin and mineral complexes.
